Intramedullary Sclerosing Meningioma in Meningiomatosis: Case Report and Review of the Literature

Sclerosing meningioma is a rare histological variant of meningioma, first described in the literature by Davidson and Hope 1989 as an invasive bulking mass consisted whorling collagen bundles with minimum percentage meningothelial resembling cells [1]. The showed very cases intramedullary location sclerosing meningiomas: our opinion, it mandatory to describe its clinical, surgical, immunohistochemical features order reach best final outcome. meningiomas are often misdiagnosed because their behaviour: does require correct diagnosis prevent unnecessary postoperative treatment. Literature reports only 30 2 them intramedullary. We present case cervical presenting gait disturbances, sensory deficits, four extremities weakness hypereflexia patient history meningiomatosis.
